Blend had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with Mastercard on a project that epitomized the art of surprise and delight<\/a>. Our mission was clear: to create extraordinary experiences for Mastercard cardholders that demonstrated the brand’s commitment to valuing and rewarding its customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We embarked on a journey that would leave selected cardholders in awe of the once-in-a-lifetime experiences awaiting them. Our approach was to craft a perfectly orchestrated ruse, ensuring that the cardholders had no inkling of the extraordinary adventure ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The grand surprise began with a collaboration between Blend and Lyft, leading to the creation of a custom Mastercard-branded party bus. This meticulously designed party bus was the initial step in a journey that would redefine the cardholders’ expectations. It served as a prelude to the main event that awaited them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once aboard the party bus, the cardholders received a video message from the iconic singer Gwen Stefani. The revelation was nothing short of astonishing: they were about to join her for a live concert, an experience that was beyond their wildest dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The surprises didn’t end there. Blend orchestrated full hair and makeup makeovers for the cardholders, ensuring that they were red-carpet-ready. The transformation was pivotal as they were about to embark on a journey that would culminate at the Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The crescendo of our collaboration saw Blend presenting the cardholders with coveted tickets to the Grammys. The impact of this collaboration was so significant that it garnered widespread attention and even secured a place on the front page of Ad Age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Heartland Bank<\/a>, a prominent name in the online banking sphere in New Zealand, approached Blend with a unique challenge. They wanted to introduce their innovative small business loans to highlight that business owners no longer needed to put their homes down as collateral. It was a feature that set them apart in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Blend team adopted a humorous approach to convey the ease and speed of applying for Heartland loans. We decided to utilize a married couple as the central characters in the narrative. This choice added a relatable and approachable dimension to the story we were about to tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The essence of our creative work was distilled into a series of engaging commercials. These commercials didn’t just remain confined to television; they were strategically placed across New Zealand’s broadcast TV channels, ensuring maximum reach. In addition, we extended our digital footprint, spreading our message across various social platforms<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But the story didn’t end there. Heartland Bank’s \u2018You Choose\u2019 checking accounts were a unique offering, trading the interest of a savings account for the flexibility of cash advances and overdrafts. Blend skillfully harnessed the flexibility of this product to appeal to younger consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our campaign featured young professionals and millennials who leveraged the ease of access to funds to enhance their everyday lives. The setting was in Southern California, a symbolic choice that aligned with the famous laid-back Kiwi lifestyle. These spots were strategically placed across Heartland’s digital and social channels, ensuring a comprehensive reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eureka<\/a>, a 113-year-old vacuum brand, approached Blend with a unique challenge\u2014to reintroduce its brand<\/a> to consumers. Eureka wanted a comedic approach that would leave a lasting impact and, most importantly, make their brand memorable once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Blend’s team of creative minds came up with a brilliant concept: \u2018Meet the Messners<\/a>\u2019. The campaign was centered around an average American family that seemed incapable of avoiding outrageous and out-of-control messes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meet the Messners comprised five different models, each associated with a 30-second OTT\/Streaming spot featuring the messy family. In addition to these, we created numerous other social spots, product videos, e-commerce videos, and more. The breadth of content was designed to captivate and engage the audience across various platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our commitment to Eureka’s revival didn’t stop at video content. Blend also worked alongside an industry-leading photography<\/a> team to create product photography for each of the vacuum models. These stunning visuals were seamlessly integrated into Eureka’s digital and social channels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Blend’s journey through remarkable projects continues with Innova vacuums, where we were entrusted to create the launch campaign<\/a> for Eureka’s newest label. Innova is a line of high-end vacuums designed to compete with up-market giants like Shark and Bissell. At Blend, we thrive on challenges, and crafting a campaign that highlighted Innova’s innovative technology and sleek design was a task we eagerly embraced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The creative minds at Blend went to work, conceptualizing a campaign that would showcase Innova’s technological prowess and convey the sense of support and companionship these vacuums provide to users. In our 30-second spot titled \u2018You Never Clean Alone\u2019, we imagined a team of designers and engineers standing by your side every time you vacuumed. It was a powerful narrative that resonated with consumers and emphasized the brand’s commitment to innovation and user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another spot, \u2018Beauty<\/a>\u2019, borrowed a page from the tech industry playbook. We employed tight, beautifully lit shots to allow the gorgeous product design of Innova’s flagship models to speak for itself. This approach highlighted the product’s aesthetics and underscored its technological sophistication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Blend went the extra mile to create a wide range of deliverables to support the Innova launch. This included product videos that delved deeper into the vacuum’s features, CGI feature videos that provided an immersive look into Innova’s technology, and use-case photography to give potential customers a comprehensive understanding of the product. We also created an infomercial tailored specifically for Innova’s product pages on Walmart.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Innova’s launch campaign is yet another testament to Blend’s commitment to excellence and innovation. We approach every project with a fresh perspective, and our ability to tailor our creative strategies to meet the unique needs of our clients is what sets us apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n2.
